SOLAR FLIGHT LAB
Lead Pilot / Advisor
Testing efficiency of photovoltaic propulsion in high-altitude, long-endurance platforms. Leading a multi-year research initiative in partnership with NASA Dryden and Stanford University to develop next-generation solar aircraft capable of stratospheric flight durations exceeding 30 days. Our prototype achieved a breakthrough 47% energy conversion rate at 65,000 feet, validating sustainable aviation concepts for atmospheric monitoring, climate research, and emergency communications. The program has secured $2.3M in federal funding and published findings in three peer-reviewed aerospace journals.

SKYWARD STEM INITIATIVE
Founder / Mentor
Empowering students through hands-on aerospace workshops across 15 schools. Founded in 2019 to address the critical shortage of women and minorities in aviation careers, this comprehensive mentorship program has reached over 1,200 students across urban and rural districts. Curriculum includes flight simulator training, aircraft maintenance workshops, air traffic control simulations, and direct mentorship with industry professionals. Partnership agreements with major airlines provide internship pathways, resulting in 89% college enrollment rate among participants and 67% pursuing STEM degrees. Program expansion planned for 25 additional schools by 2026.

QUIET BOOM PROJECT
Innovation Pilot
Exploring low-sonic-boom flight data for next-gen passenger travel. Serving as chief test pilot for revolutionary supersonic aircraft development that reduces sonic boom intensity by 75% through innovative aerodynamic shaping and engine placement. Over 200 test flights conducted at Mach 1.4-2.2, collecting critical acoustic data for FAA certification pathway. Collaboration with Boom Supersonic, Lockheed Martin, and international regulatory bodies aims to restore over-land supersonic passenger service by 2029. Recent flights achieved targeted 65 PLdB ground signatures, bringing commercial viability within reach and potentially revolutionizing transcontinental travel times.
